Sturdy and Reliable for Hazardous Environments
AirTight offers two different SpectraGuard Sensor Assemblies in NEMA approved enclosures:
- a sealed unit - for indoor use or for outdoor use in moderate temperature environments
- a heated/cooled unit - for outdoor use in more extreme weather conditions
The enclosure protects against environmental hazards and keeps the 802.11n sensor and installation safe.

Installation Guidelines
- The NEMA units can be mounted indoors - on interior walls or inside false ceiling, or outdoors - on exterior walls, utility poles or other outdoor fixtures.
- The antennas should be properly mounted following guidelines provided with the assemblies.
- AirTight strongly recommends that customers use a licensed electrician/contractor for installation and follow local building codes.

Power Requirements
The SpectraGuard Sensor requires 802.3af POE.
The heated/cooled unit requires 120V AC power to the unit to run the heater and fan.

- AirTight SS-300-AT (802.11n) SpectraGuard Sensor
- NEMA enclosure (Sealed unit or Heated/cooled unit)
- Two single-band external antennas each for 2.4 and 5 GHz bands (Figure 1) OR One dual-band (2.4/5 GHz) 6-pack MIMO external antenna (Figure 2)
- Required connectors
- Four lightning arrestors and four 20 foot low loss cables (not applicable for 6-pack MIMO antenna)
The assemblies DO NOT include the following, which the customer must supply:
- Ethernet cable, POE injector
- Grounding cables/kit
- Power cable for heated/cooled unit
- NEMA mounting kit
