AirTight Networks Licenses SAFE Technology to Sana Security Sana to Deliver Primary Response Air Cover Based on AirTight® Technology Mountain View, CA - December 12, 2006 - AirTight® Networks, the leading provider of wireless intrusion prevention solutions, today announced that it has licensed its SpectraGuard® SAFE technology to Sana Security, a security software company, to broaden Sana’s suite of anti-malware solutions. Sana Security has introduced Primary Response Air Cover, based on AirTight’s technology.   Sana’s Primary Response Air Cover is a stand-alone security solution that protects laptop users and the mobile workforce from malicious access points and ad-hoc connections. With Primary Response Air Cover, both the device and remote users are protected from malware and other malicious code that can install itself over a wireless connection and steal personal identity, digital lifestyle data and corporate information.   “The growth of laptop sales and the ability to connect from home, at work and on the road is becoming more common and increasingly inadvertent, and ad-hoc wireless connections enable quick and easy theft of personal and financial information,” said Timothy Eades, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Sana Security. “The collaborative computing environment is both growing and becoming easier to exploit – thus it requires a product that protects against these connections and is easy to install, configure and manage. This added protection enables a safe and secure environment to browse the Internet freely, collaborate with people across different connection profiles and eliminate excessive updates and user intervention. Primary Response Air Cover will be available through Sana’s ISP/MSSP and channel partners who are delivering comprehensive anti-malware solutions to their subscribers and customers.   SpectraGuard SAFE is AirTight’s product to protect laptops from wireless threats in potentially “hostile” environments, such as airports, hotel lobbies, and coffee shops.
