Andy Lovit, Former Executive with Tandberg Television and SkyStream Networks, brings Deep Network Experience and Successful Record of Building Enterprise Sales Organizations

Appointment Underscores Growth of WIPS Market and AirTight’s Rapid Expansion and Explosive Global Customer Acquisition

Mountain View, CA - July 9, 2007 - AirTight® Networks, the leading provider of wireless intrusion prevention solutions, today announced that Andy Lovit, has been named vice president of worldwide sales. Lovit previously served as senior vice president for service provider sales at Tandberg Television, a global leader in digital video solutions and vice president of worldwide sales and field operations at SkyStream Networks. In his position at AirTight, Lovit assumes responsibility for all field sales and support, corporate sales and operations and business development partnering activities. Lovit reports to David King, chairman and CEO of AirTight.

“As awareness of wireless vulnerabilities has grown with revelations about high profile wireless breaches, AirTight has experienced explosive customer growth in the U. S. over the last year and we expect both our Asia Pacific and European footprint to expand becoming a significant part of AirTight’s business in the next few years,” said David King, chairman and CEO of AirTight. “It was important to recruit a seasoned executive with the international network experience and successful track record that Andy has who can build a diverse sales and support organization to serve enterprise customers and partners. Andy also brings a wealth of experience selling to the service provider community which AirTight is targeting as we see the demand for managed wireless security services taking off.”

“Wireless technology and applications are growing exponentially with more than 200 million WiFi equipped products sold last year and more than 48,000 hotspots covering the globe. This ubiquitous wireless presence presents a major challenge to enterprises and organizations trying to prevent unauthorized access to their networks,” said Lovit. “AirTight’s wireless intrusion prevention system helps enterprises create, maintain and enforce wireless security policy. There is a great opportunity in this emerging segment of the market for securing enterprise networks (both wired and wireless) from wireless threats. AirTight has the right technology at the right time and is well positioned to capitalize on that opportunity.”

Lovit brings over 24 years of sales management experience to AirTight. Besides his positions at Tandberg and SkyStream Networks before its acquisition by Tandberg, Lovit held a variety of executive positions at MAYAN Networks, Paradyne Corporation and 3Com.
