Stanton Brings Extensive Wireless Infrastructure and Security Experience

Mountain View, Calif. - July 26, 2010 - AirTight Networks®, the leading provider of wireless intrusion prevention systems (WIPS) and services, today announced that Sean Stanton has joined AirTight as Director of Business Development and Strategic Alliances. Stanton brings extensive experience in both wireless and security to the position, as well as a long track record of successful strategic alliances. Most recently, Stanton spent more than four years at AirMagnet (acquired by Fluke Networks) with the majority of his tenure as the Director of Strategic Alliances and Business Development

Prior to AirMagnet, Sean held sales leadership positions at NetDevices, an enterprise Edge Security Services Gateway (acquired by Alcatel-Lucent), PRISMIQ, the industry's first 802.11 wireless digital media gateway, Totality, a managed services provider (acquired by MCI, then by Verizon), and data center, security and web-hosting pioneer, Exodus Communications, now part of SAVVIS.

"AirTight continues to achieve explosive growth in both strategic partnerships and global customers even during the current economic downturn," said David King, Chairman and CEO of AirTight. "Sean's keen sense of strategy and extensive knowledge of both wireless infrastructure and security makes Sean the right person to carry the ball forward and move AirTight to the next level of strategic alliances. I am delighted Sean chose to bring his considerable skills to AirTight's team."

"The pervasive yet invisible nature of Wi-Fi demands constant vigilance on the part of the enterprise to protect sensitive data and meet regulatory and industry standards, such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, DoD Directive 8100.2," said Stanton. "As more and more companies wrestle with the complexities of securing their WLANs, especially against the tidal wave of Wi-Fi enabled devices coming into the enterprise, the only effective way to monitor and secure both the wired and wireless networks for wireless vulnerabilities is with an automated system. I am delighted to join AirTight to contribute to and increase the success it has already achieved in the marketplace."

Stanton reports to David King, Chairman and CEO of AirTight.
