The Company has chosen SpectraGuard Enterprise® from AirTight® Networks to provide its merchandising partners with the anywhere, anytime Wi-Fi connectivity at the speedway while maintaining wireless security and PCI compliance to ensure customer data is protected. "Our merchandise partners rely on our wireless network to complete transactions and SpectraGuard helps further protect sensitive customer data. "We implemented a WLAN from Cisco for our networking infrastructure but wanted an independent wireless intrusion prevention system (WIPS) which was purpose-built for wireless security. The fact that SpectraGuard could overlay our infrastructure and integrate easily into our Cisco WLAN was a big factor in our choice of AirTight. By triangulating AirTight sensors across the area we had to cover, we could automatically control our airspace while reducing the number of sensors we needed to deploy. That created a cost saving."
