AirTight Wireless Security Product Achieves "McAfee Compatible" Status; SpectraGuard Now Integrates with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator Platform

Integration allows SpectraGuard to report wireless threats and incidents directly to McAfee® ePolicy Orchestrator® console

Mountain View, Calif. - July 13, 2010 - AirTight® Networks, a global leader in wireless intrusion prevention systems (WIPS), today announced that it has achieved "McAfee Compatible" status for its SpectraGuard® Enterprise WIPS. The integrated joint solution allows wireless security-related incidents to be reported from AirTight's SpectraGuard Enterprise server to the McAfee® ePolicy Orchestrator® (ePOTM) software. Mutual customers can now utilize McAfee ePO dashboards to view a range of wireless security events, which helps prevent disruptions, identify vulnerabilities, and monitor and manage emerging wireless threats.

AirTight joined the McAfee® Security Innovation AllianceTM in 2009, and recently became a  Sales Teaming Partner in the program. McAfee Security Innovation Alliance is the foundation of a technology ecosystem designed to assemble the world's leading security innovations, enabling McAfee customers to leverage their investments in McAfee while adding complementary capabilities not found in McAfee's core offerings.
