AirTight Networks Brings Comprehensive Wireless Intrusion Prevention to McAfee Security Innovation Alliance

SpectraGuard Enterprise and SAFE Protect Data, Prevent Disruptions, Identify Vulnerabilities and Continuously Monitor for Wireless Threats

Mountain View, Calif. - October 6, 2009 - AirTight® Networks, a leader in wireless intrusion prevention systems (WIPS), today announced that it has joined the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance^TM to provide customers of both companies with a robust wireless security solution which mitigates against current and emerging threats, regardless of where attacks are launched, including at the endpoint.

AirTight will provide integration between SpectraGuard® Enterprise and McAfee® ePolicy Orchestrator® (ePO^TM) software. Wireless security-related incidents will be imported into the McAfee ePO platform from AirTight's SpectraGuard® Enterprise server. The integration will be provided for data reported by both SpectraGuard Sensors and SpectraGuard SAFE agents. This will allow customers to utilize the McAfee ePO console for wireless security incident reporting.
