AirTight Appoints Steve Choi Managing Director, Asia-Pacific Sales

Choi Brings Deep Knowledge of Network Infrastructure Environment and Culture of Pacific Rim 

Mountain View, Calif. - August 2, 2010 - AirTight Networks®, the leading provider of wireless intrusion prevention systems (WIPS) and services, today announced that Steve Choi has joined AirTight as Managing Director Asia-Pacific Sales. Choi joins AirTight from Kwise, the leading provider of WIPS products and services in South Korea.  He brings a strong track record of success in opening and expanding the AsiaPac WIPS market. As Director of Business Development at Kwise, he was instrumental in growing its WIPS marketshare using AirTight's SpectraGuard® to 70%, making it the unrivalled market leader in South Korea. 

Before Kwise, Choi was the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Netcruz in South Korea,  an application and network performance management solution provider.  At Innet, the leading Cisco Network Integrator, he built a successful product development team to deliver the first Web-based network management system (WNMS) solutions. Before Innet, Steve served as the lead product specialist  at Compuware, which provides solutions to optimize end-to-end application performance. He holds a BS in electrical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
