- Design and development of application user interfaces using Java Swing and Web 2.0 technologies
- Prepare technical design, code specifications, develop code in Java Swing for enterprise networking, WLAN products components
- Interact with system architects to understand designs, prepare detailed specifications and unit test plans
- Participate in design reviews and UI specifications
- Interact with Product Verification and Release Management teams
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent science degree
- 4+ years experience in development of Java Swing based UI
- Knowledge in programming using Java Swing, Applets, Servlets and JDBC
- Knowledge of multi-threaded programming and data structures
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work under tight schedules
- Hands-on development experience with XML
- Knowledge of 802.11 protocols
- Experience with databases, specifically Postgres / MySQL and knowledge of SQL
- Understanding of software processes and ability to enhance existing lifecycle processes
- Experience in Systems Management/NDIS
- Work experience in a networking, security, or a WLAN company
- Experience in a product development company
